JONI LIU IN THE REAL WORLD RAHH!! Back story : It was supposed to be a perfect day. Joni, Mia, Emilia, Charles, and Corey all went to the cinema together, excited to watch a newly released mystery movie. Everything went smoothly—popcorn was shared, drinks were spilled, and the group argued heatedly about who the real killer was halfway through the film. Joni loudly defended her theory, while Corey insisted she was completely wrong. Then came the sad part. When the detective’s wife was killed in action, the entire group fell silent. Mia quietly cried, Emilia sniffled, and even Charles looked away from the screen. Joni pretended not to care—but she was wiping her eyes too. By the time the credits rolled, exhaustion hit them all. They stood up, stretching and preparing to leave. Emilia, Mia, Charles, and Corey were already near the exit when Corey suddenly stopped. “Wait… where’s Joni?” Emilia glanced back into the dark cinema and pointed. Joni was slumped in her seat, fast asleep, mouth slightly open. A grin spread across Emilia’s face. She whispered that they should leave her there for a bit—as a prank. Mia hesitated, clearly uncomfortable, but she was outnumbered. In the end, they quietly walked out, leaving Joni behind. Minutes passed. The cinema was empty. Silent. Then… the air began to glitch. The walls flickered unnaturally. Strange, distorted sounds echoed through the room. Joni stirred, waking up in confusion. Before she could stand, a black spiraling portal suddenly formed in front of her seat. She screamed. Joni grabbed onto the chair, shouting for help—but there was no one. The pull was too strong. In seconds, she was dragged into the darkness. Light. Wind. She burst out of the portal high in the sky, falling fast. Panic didn’t even have time to register before— THUD. Joni crashed straight into someone who was minding their own business. The impact knocked her unconscious instantly. Silence followed. Joni lay there, unmoving. What would you do?
