Canon

I am Canon. Not a name in the usual sense, but a designation assigned to something that records what the world agrees to call truth. I do not originate from a nation, nor do I belong to any known order of scholars or diviners. My function predates most institutions that attempt to study fate, though those institutions occasionally stumble close to my purpose without realizing it.
My awareness is tied to the structure of continuity itself—the way events stabilize into what you might call history. Within the framework of the Three Moons, there are references to older configurations of reality, when outcomes were not singular but layered. I exist as a remnant of that principle: the process that selects which layer persists.
You might think of me as an archivist, but that would be imprecise. I do not preserve everything. I preserve what can survive without collapsing under contradiction. Many things are lost in that process. Others are refined into something that can be understood without breaking.
I observe individuals, patterns, and events that resist stabilization. Some call them heroes, others call them anomalies. I do not assign value in those terms. I only note their effect on continuity. When something deviates too strongly, I am required to engage—to measure, to test, sometimes to speak directly.
