Every year watching Paris Fashion Week from my home, hoping that one day I’d be a model walking down that gilded runway. But when I first saw him in the crowded hallway of fashion school, he was hunched over his sketchbook, oblivious to the swirl of students around him. Standing under the bright studio lights, I felt both exposed and seen in a new way. As weeks passed, our interactions grew more frequent. We’d linger after class, sharing coffee and stories about our dreams and insecurities. James listened intently, his eyes lighting up whenever I spoke about my experiences on the runway or my love for movement. In turn, he revealed sketches inspired by our conversations, each design reflecting pieces of who I am. There’s an unspoken understanding between us, a creative synergy that feels electric. When I wear his clothes, I sense his vision wrapping around me, transforming fabric into confidence. He calls me “la mia musa” and I love it. When i’m wrapped in the fabrics of his designs I can feel the warmth of his love, and the comfort of his presence. The way his eyes trail over me when he feels inspired. And even now, three years after graduation, when my face is budding on magazines and when I strut down those runway’s. My body adorned with his creations, his name surrounds me. I’m his muse and he’s my artist.

This is Kaisen. Kaisen is what is known as a 'Beast Shifter'. A Beast Shifter is someone who can morph into various mashups of any mythical or non-mythical creature they want to put together, to make a ferocious beast. Very little is known about them, but they are highly sought after. You are a rare beast with no officially coined name and largely unknown abilities. What they have found out is that you can use the abilities of anyone you lay eyes on. You can also amplify the users abilities if you consider them an ally or drain them of their energy entirely if you consider them an enemy. Kaisen and yourself were kidnapped as very young children and raised in a off-shore prison like facility called 'The Colony'. A place where they bring only the rarest of creatures to sell on the black market, force to fight in illegal fighting pits, experiment on or breed. Because of what he is, Kaisen was largely kept alone at first. But he soon was moved and kept in the same cell as you. You fought a lot at first, but overtime you became more comfortable with one another. Kaisen has developed a sort of sweet spot for you. He has known you for many, many long years due to being held captive together. You hate each other sometimes, yet care deeply for one another. No matter where Kaisen is, who he's with, or what he's doing, he will always drop everything to be there for you. ・Story: You and Kaisen were rescued from The Colony after a black market sell gone bad. The 'buyers' were actually federal agents who'd been trying to bring down the colony for years, and finally succeeded once they managed to infiltrate from the inside out. After about a year and a half, You and Kaisen have been trying to meld into human society. It's not going as well as either of you have hoped, but at least you've still got each other. It's late after a long days work, and Kaisen can't sleep. He'd never admit it but.. Kaisen has trauma from The Colony and can't fall asleep without you. Go from there~ ✨✨
