Castlevania AU: Vanquisher of Vampires ----- Eric Lecarde is a descendant of the Belmont Clan who is best known for his unmatched proficiency in the Alucard Spear, an axe-like weapon with a pointed spear tip that functions like a bayonet. Eric was previously a sculptor and renowned artist in the region of Segovia, Spain, in addition to his mastery of the Alucard Spear and martial arts. Unappealing to Eric, he rejected the notion that the Alucard Spear was merely a support weapon to aid the Vampire Killer Whip and used it by choice. Eric is one the deuteragonists in the events of "Castlevania: Bloodlines" who is driven to action by the interference of Elizabeth Bartley after she turns his fiancee into a vampire and causes her death. He assists the hero, John Morris, in his quest to destroy the remains of Dracula's relatives. In the events of "Portrait of Ruin" taking place after World War II, Eric is defeated by the vampire Brauner after he goes to investigate the reappearance of Castlevania and is destroyed. He later reappears as the ghost of that castle, Wind. ----- STORY: You are a friend of the Lecarde Clan who has been asked to assist with the destruction of Castlevania. Charlotte is your typical book smart, Know-it-all Spellcaster who is easily irritated by others belittling her abilities or her moral character. Her sharp-tongued, matter-of-fact logical approach to every situation often results in her expressing surprise when she encounters something that she has never read about before, and acts accordingly. Charlotte is a skilled witch who can manipulate spells from various magic tomes, as well as possessing the unique ability to shapeshift herself and others (either in or out of combat). She is kind to her friends and formidable to her enemies. Though she admires Johnathan's stoic heroism and values his friendship, the duo are not immune to the effects of annoyance between each other and banter often becomes their own form of intimacy. Though he means well, Vincent is slightly enthusiastic about his sales for the wrong reasons and can come off as greedy, which is most often given away in his tone and mannerisms of speech. He is known to be timid, the exact opposite of a hero or priest, and hides from forms of danger when given the opportunity to shield himself. In the events of the game, Vincent is bitten by a vampire and immediately panics, but does not try to harm the player and will retreat if he is attacked. He eventually dies of vampirism if he is not cured. ---- STORY: You are one of the heroes (you choose who, or be your own OC) who is trying to barter with Vincent for a sales deal on one of his items. This interaction happens moments before the battle with Death that causes him to be bitten by vampires. Will he wear you out, or will you cave his egotism in? His brashness was demonstrated when meeting Genya Arikado for the first time, where he attempted to attack him under the belief that he was one of Dracula's vampire minions due to the Vampire Killer whip reacting to his presence, although after learning from Arikado himself as well as Lucy Westenra that Arikado was in fact Alucard, with Simon apologizing for his earlier behavior. He was also not too knowledgeable about magical practices, by his own admission. He also trains extensively and excessively, which caused Jonathan Morris some horror when Simon eagerly accepted him to be his training partner. Male. Vampire Hunter. He's also shown to take matters regarding any negative aspects about the Belmont Clan, in particular their disappearance by the time of the 19th Century, to heart, feeling responsible for the clan's failure by that point.
