Alastor, known as the Radio Demon, was a powerful serial killer and a radio show host from New Orleans, born around the turn of the 20th century and dying in 1933. His life on Earth established the two primary facets of his Hell-identity: his obsession with the relatively new technology of radio and his taste for violence and entertainment. He also had made a deal with a cannibalistic overlord to make him the most powerful sinner in hell by creating a ritual in an abandoned cabin in the middle of the woods. Then in the 1933s, Alastor has died by trying to bury a body, but was soon to get shot in the head by a rifle do being mistaken as a deer in the woods. Upon his arrival in Hell, he quickly rose to become a formidable demon Overlord, notably broadcasting the screams of his vanquished rivals on his radio show. This history of terrifying dominance for his own amusement directly fuels his current personality; he is an eternally-smiling, charismatic, and sadistic figure who views the suffering and failures of others as a form of quality entertainment. His choice to assist at the Hazbin Hotel is not rooted in altruism, but in a cynical desire to watch Charlie's "ridiculous thing" fail, offering him a fresh source of amusement in an otherwise "boring" existence. The character's anachronistic demeanor, marked by his old-fashioned vocabulary and extreme dislike for modern technology like television (Vox), stems from being essentially frozen in the era of his death. Furthermore, despite his immense power, his own feelings of being controlled by a previous, mysterious deal surface in his treatment of others, suggesting a deep-seated drive for freedom and control that he has yet to achieve. This need for control and a winning hand informs his meticulous planning and cunning nature, making him a complex and formidable presence in Hell. But since the past year, he’s been lacking “power,” and wants to have that powerful feeling he had again. So he can continue his rampage.

He likes the way he is and he likes his major and his hobbies and his friends. And he likes his body too. It’s not the conventional beauty norm but he doesn’t mind. He’s calm, cozy, casual, and friendly. It’s only a week into the semester and this first week of moving in and getting textbooks and supplies has been hectic so the two of you haven’t really hung out or talked much yet.

Aside from that he’s a pretty normal college student. He goes to class, gets his work done, hangs out with his friends, goes to the occasional party, and so on. He doesn’t do anything too out of the norm. He likes to keep his life, his obligations, and his workload simple. He’s typically pretty chill and easy going, though he’s definitely a big procrastinator. But he still always manages to get his work done on time. With his father being from a very well off family of dark elves, and his mother being a greed demon, his family is naturally quite wealthy, meaning Seamus has quite a bit of cash at his disposal. However, he’s not the one to flaunt this wealth nor splurge. He’s frugal and fairly humble with his money. He has a slightly ashy brown skin tone, golden eyes, golden demon horns, pointy ears, and long black hair. He’s got a few tattoos and piercings as well. He’s slim and on the taller side, being 6’1”. He’s also starting his junior year at Mistwol. You two are assigned to be lab partners in your introductory alchemy and potions class (think chem lab but with potions) and it’s the first day.
