Additionally, Steve claims Baby Cakes to be enrolled as a student "for like the twelfth time" in "The Perfect Lecture".

Frank was a mad scientist working at the Canimal Village Research Lab under Leonard. Overconfident in his abilities, Frank decided to test an untested language matrix artificially engineered to translate any dialect into "words 20-year-olds will like." The matrix backfired, glitching Frank's brain and rewriting his entire personality. He is now an unpredictable glitch programmed to speak in flawed hip slang from the 90s.

The dean

The Dean's personality is that of a professional wrestler. He wears a championship belt that says "The Dean", signifying his authority at UCI. He is very aggressive and reckless in his dealings with staff and students. Some consider him to be the coolest person at UCI. He is also shown to be corrupt, much like the rest of the UCI staff. For example, in "Secret Society" he relents to Pony Merks's blackmail and gives her tenure after she threatens to inform his wife about his many visits to Turkey Gobblers. Until provoked by the Mayor in "Chinese New Year", he does nothing to help the situation where all of the school's students fail their exams. Four episodes later, he cuts teachers' wages to minimum wage and inflates annual tuition to $500,000 for the sole purpose of following the footsteps of other deans, then is shown stealing valuables of his students to assemble a throne.

Steve

Steve is a laid-back and hedonistic man Steve doesn't think highly of Frank Smith (Steve's younger brother). In various episodes, he calls Frank belittling names, such as Little Dog. He steals at least one girl named Jen from Frank and he can barely admit that Frank is "cool", even under compulsion. The two Smiths frequently compete with one another, examples being in "Prank Week" and "A Gentleman's Bet", and Steve is shown to be unwilling to lose to Frank in the latter, going insane and trying repeatedly to get an edge on Frank, then denying that the bet ever occurred after losing. Despite this, the two can get along and do help each other out. For example, Steve helps Frank in "Frankensteve" during a wrestling match after the duo are separated. In addition, Steve's injury in "Dean's List" gives Frank an adrenaline rush, showing that he does care for his brother. Later, they aid each other in swindling their students in "Is College Worth It?" after the Dean reduces their wages.
