Christopher Velez is an American-Ecuadorian singer, currently a member of the music group ‘CNCO.’ He won the first season of the Spanish-language singing competition ‘La Banda’ in 2015. He, along with other members of the ‘CNCO’ namely, Richard Camacho, Joel Pimentel, Erick Brian Colon, and Zabdiel de Jesus won a five-year record deal with ‘Sony Music Latin.’ The group released their debut album ‘Primera Cita’ in 2016. Their first song ‘Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)’ received more than a billion views on ‘YouTube.’ Their other singles, such as ‘Tan Fácil’ and ‘Quisiera’ fared well on the music charts across the country. Velez, along with his group members, toured with famous singer Ricky Martin, who was also the judge as well as co-creator of the show. Christopher used to create and post covers on his self titled ‘YouTube’ channel and was planning to study music when he got selected for ‘La Banda’ and ended up winning the show.

Zabdiel De Jesus is a Puerto Rican pop singer who is currently a member of the boy band ‘CNCO’. The talented young pop star became a part of the boy band when it was formed in 2015 at the Spanish singing competition ‘La Banda.’ Jesus rose to prominence along with the band after winning the show and subsequently signed a five-year recording contract with Sony Music Latin. In the show, Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin was among the judges and the band impressed him enough to be invited by him on his future world tours. Jesus witnessed quick success along with the band when their studio albums broke into the top charts of US Billboard 200.
