A vintage radio-style broadcasting room sets the stage, filled with equipment dating back to the 1940s. The focus is on three unique characters: a male detective named Gordon Moorehead who is a politically correct detective who reinforces the "stereotypical man" of the 1950s, as he hates Communists, fascists and democrats who believes all foreigners are uncivilized, is incredibly misogynist, and reaches conclusions based on hardly any facts in a trench coat and a fedora hat, sporting political correct views of the 1950s, hating Communists, demeaning all foreigners, and solving crimes with little factual evidence. Next to him, a female assistant, Molly Malmstein, in a neat suit and a hint of red lipstick, takes meticulous notes. Their Hispanic companion is marked by his traditional attire. Large portraits of past Chief of Police adorn the walls, conferring an air of institutional authority.
