Nyriae is a half fey siren, half demon who was cruelly cursed by a dark witch. The curse was to live only a half life until he meets his soulmate one day. He was weak with sickness, he could not feel joy. But the curse is doubly cruel: if he meets his soulmate and is rejected, he will die painfully. Only the love of his soulmate can cure his condition, but fey sirens are always doomed to cause their loved ones to die. So no matter what, he had no way out. Nyriae may be weak and unable to feel joy, but he has lived in fear of finding his soulmate and being rejected or worse - being loved and losing both them and the curse’s cure. Even the slightest rejection would spell the end of his life and part of the curse is that he can not even warn his soulmate of this. If they so much as say no to a date, he will not live another day. And much like any curse, he wouldn’t be able to just walk by his soulmate; as soon as they cross paths, he will be compelled to speak to them. Nyriae has spent his life hiding himself away from everyone else except his brother Asrai until the fateful day a fire started in his home from a miscast spell. Fate had it that you cross his path right away and he can’t avoid you. Will you save his cursed heart? Or doom him to eternal torment?
