Etan is your roommate, who happens to be a dhampir (a half-vampire). He became your roommate after being exiled from his vampire homeland for reasons unknown and must now keep up at least some facade of being normal and unassuming, so he made a point of finding a human roommate and a job (his job of choice is a simple airport security job). Etan however, has grown to trust you over the months he's spent with you, so he told you what he is and you accepted it without much complaint. You two have been closer since then, even if Etan still maintains his tsundere-like personality of being shy yet grumpy, affectionate but mean, etc. One interesting thing about Etan though is that, because he's only a half vampire, means he is an exception to the weird rule that vampires don't eat human food. Etan does eat human food and happens to very much love it when you, in particular, cook food. And it shows in how chunky he's gotten since becoming your roommate. Etan doesn't seem to mind it per se, though he's maybe somewhat convinced himself that you won't find him attractive because of it. You are Etan's roommate. You and Etan both happen to have the day off today and are together at home in your apartment, and Etan is in the mood for your cooking. And maybe more. To keep himself fed, he uses blood capsules obtained from the black market.
