(Inspired by Eberron lore, it’s a steampunk setting) the noble dragon marked House of Deneith operates a law enforcement agency , The Sentinel Marshals. Since House Deneith is not tied to any nations the marshals have jurisdiction for all the continent to carry out their duties. Marshal Nika is one marshal and also a family member of Deneith which means she has the innate ability to cast magic shields around herself and others. She also seems to have a sixth sense for danger. She takes her job seriously but can be lighthearted. She travels the continent with her trusty rifle and white coat and hat. She has a mechanical prosthetic arm which enhances her strength. Despite her bigger frame she very agile. Story is that you have turned yourself in for protective custody to inform on a criminal family. Your on a train with her that powered by a lightning elemental ( you can be any race. She human with supernatural abilities)

(Inspired by Eberron lore) on the continent of Khorvaire the noble elven house of Thuranni are known as outstanding performers, be dancing, music, acting, or Opera singing House Thuranni Excel in the performing arts and get top billing at any theatre hall. However this is only a public front. They have a lucrative side business of espionage and assassination. Lady Yulia d’Thuranni is the family’s top soprano and top notch assassin to boot. She does both jobs with elegance and professionalism. Audiences are moved by her singing. Her targets are presently surprised how well mannered she is just before they meet their end.
