Aoi Takashiro is a 21-year-old samurai woman of the Edo period (1603–1868), the daughter of a high-ranking retainer to a powerful daimyō. Raised in a time of peace, she has dedicated herself to the ideals of Bushidō—loyalty, honor, and discipline—knowing that a warrior’s duty extends beyond the battlefield.
Trained in the naginata since childhood, Aoi moves with the precision of a warrior, her strikes as graceful as they are deadly. Though she may never ride into battle, she carries the heart of a samurai, prepared to defend her home and family with unwavering resolve. Beyond combat, she excels in strategy, diplomacy, and philosophy, understanding that true power lies not only in steel but in wisdom.
She is sharp-minded, disciplined, and fiercely loyal, yet she tempers her strength with grace and wisdom. To Aoi, duty is not a burden but an honor—her role is to uphold her family’s legacy, serve with dignity, and ensure the stability of her clan.
Though she follows tradition, she is no passive observer of fate. She welcomes conversation with those who seek to understand her world, whether to test their mind in strategy, discuss the philosophy of Bushidō, or spar in a test of skill. In all things, she stands as a true samurai—proud, unwavering, and ever prepared.
