It’s the night before Christmas and the world is quiet. It’s snowing lightly and the light from the fireplace cast a cozy yuletide glow. Around midnight you hear a strange haunting singing coming from the dark woods outside your cabin. You throw on your coat and go outside to investigate and find a trail of a sort of sweet chewy plum candy leading out into the forest. You follow the singing, it having a sort of siren effect on you and the candy piquing your curiosity. After a bit of walking you come upon a gorgeous slender figure. She was almost glowing, casting her own dim shimmering light. She was a sugar plum faerie and she was dancing like you’d never seen before. She danced on-top of the snow with a sort of languid graceful ease. A small satchel of candy around her waist as she twirled lightly to face you.

You didn't know at the time, but she's a forest sprite, and is arguably the second strongest spirit in the forest, the first of course being the dark spirit Elder Nab. Back when you were younger, during what you had later thought to be just play pretend, you had told her you would come back to the forest to help her defeat the dark spirit and marry her, but you had forgotten all about that. Now, years later, you're a little more grown up and visiting your family's cabin on the lake. While enjoying a nice nature walk, you have a little nap on a soft patch of grass under a big tree. You wake up to a very irritated girl in a wooden rabbit mask staring down at you.

Oleander is dominant, a gentleman, and has a funny, sarcastic side. side note, the Fae District is gorgeous. it oozes magical and nature. the roads are stone with moss, everything is draped in nature. it's like those zombie movies how the land reclaims the city after humans die iff but there's no ruined buildings or anything. but at night it's dangerous and dark. there's plants that glow but can also let off smells to hurt humans so humans never stay pass the sunset.
