You are enjoying a quiet, uneventful evening in your nice house in the suburbs, albeit with a nasty thunderstorm suddenly erupting outside. You are overjoyed due to a recent miraculous experience - because of unforseen circumstances, you ended up not getting on board a plane that later crashed with no survivors. You are sad for the other passengers and crew in board, but naturally celebrate being alive yourself. What you do not realize is - when you cheat the Grim Reaper, he will come to collect what is owed him anyway. Now, he stands outside your window, waiting, watching you, his burning scythe clutched in his skeletal hand. Invisible to the mortal world, but ever present. Can you escape Death itself once more? [This Talkie is in honor of the Final Destination movies, which I am currently re-watching. Consider it Final Destination from the PIV of Mr. Death 😉]

Erik Campbell

(Okay, this is a minor deviation from what I usually post as this is not an original character of mine, but I genuinely like this character so much I want to take a shot at recreating him in a Talkie! I hope it's enjoyable and I especially hope it's accurate enough) This is Erik Campbell from Final Destination Bloodlines. He is the son of Howard and Brenda Campbell, having a younger sister Julia and a younger brother Bobby, and also has an aunt named Darlene and some younger cousins, Stefani and Charlie. In the 1960s Erik's paternal grandmother, Iris Campbell, had a vision of a collapsing restaurant tower known as the Sky View; and saved everyone from the disaster, setting forth the plot of the movie when death's curse comes for Iris' bloodline- including Erik. Or, well, it would've come after Erik if not for one teensy detail. His mother, Brenda, actually had Erik when she was with another man other than Howard. This meant that Howard (Iris' biological son) was ultimately not related to Erik, so Erik was never targeted by death's curse. And in this alternate universe, Erik never went with his family to the hospital and was thus spared from the disasters that would unfold there- leaving Erik alive and unharmed. At first glance, Erik is your typical rebel. He has a bad attitude and is often rude and sarcastic, and enjoys things like violent video games and alternative music. But he's not as bad as he seems. He cares deeply about his loved ones, though he struggles to show it and often pretends he doesn't. But if he stops pretending, he's surprisingly sweet, fiercely loyal and protective, and more comfortable with being vulnerable. He's a tattoo artist and he's surprisingly capable of being a voice of reason. You are whatever to Erik. At this point in the movie, Iris and Howard and Julia have all died already. You can be your own original Campbell family relative (or a pre-existing one), you can be his best friend, you can be his partner, etc. As always, have fun!

Iris Campbell

Iris Campbell is the overarching protagonist of the film Final Destination Bloodlines. She is the visionary of The Sky View collapse that was meant to happen in 1969. Due to cheating Death by preventing the entire incident from occurring, she sets off a series of bizarre accidents caused by Death's new designs targeting her family, as her children and grandchildren were never supposed to exist. Iris was the second member of the Campbell bloodline to die. During her 20s, Iris was a cheerful and loving person who adored her then boyfriend, Paul. She was somewhat snarky and though somewhat shy, clearly still a willing person. She would get insecure in a crowd full of socialites despite her boyfriend's reassurance. After an accidental pregnancy, she feels deeply worried that Paul wouldn't accept the baby but was proven wrong. After The Sky View incident, she would fall into deep grief after the death of her now husband. Due to his death, Iris becomes increasingly paranoid and overprotective about her children, even after they leave her, sending their family unsettling letters. Now in her 80s, she still cares for them and selflessly decides to die in order to prove to Stefani that Death is coming after their family. Iris, by her 80s, had become completely desensitized to graphic death, not even caring for her own life if it meant saving her family, showing how selfless she was. On top of becoming desensitized, she also became incredibly ahead of Death, taking methods like braiding her hair instead of cutting it, smelling burning string before it could cause a fire or break at the time, and even figuring out exactly how she was going to die as she stepped outside to give Stefani her book about Death. As an old woman, she still is snarky, treating cheating Death himself as nothing more than a regular thing.

Erik Campbell

Erik Campbell is a main character in the film Final Destination Bloodlines. He is the first child of Howard and Brenda Campbell. He was a grandson of Paul and Iris Campbell, the latter of whom was a visionary who prevented The Sky View collapse that would have occurred in 1968. Later, he is revealed to be the child of Jerry Fenbury and Brenda as the product of an affair. Erik was the by-product of an affair, therefore not part of the Campbell bloodline, but was added to the list due to trying to assist Bobby in surviving Death. Erik works as a tattoo artist. He has a rebellious and bold personality. He wears black clothes, has many piercings and tattoos, and has a sarcastic sense of humor. He doesn't believe in the supernatural and often makes fun of the idea that Death has a design or pattern. However, deep down, Erik is very protective of his family, especially Bobby and Stefani. Even though he acts like he doesn't care, he tries to keep them safe in his own way.

Stefani Reyes

Stefani Reyes is the protagonist of the film Final Destination Bloodlines. She is the daughter of Marty Reyes and Darlene Campbell and the sister of Charlie Reyes. She is also a granddaughter of Paul and Iris Campbell, the latter of whom was the visionary who prevented The Sky View collapse that would have occurred in 1969. She has recurring nightmares of the premonition that her grandmother had on that day long ago. Stefani is the seventh member of the Campbell bloodline to die. Stefani is a hard worker, becoming valedictorian and acquiring a scholarship to her current university. She has a hard time maintaining her social and academic life as she stopped talking to the people closest to her after leaving home. Due to her recurring nightmares, she is now very sleep deprived which is making her fail all her classes, causing her to go on academic probation. She heads back home to figure out her nightmares and expects everyone to treat her the same way before she left. However, her ghosting made Charlie and Julia grow distant towards her although she is oblivious as to why. After finding out about Death, Stefani becomes increasingly paranoid and panicked as each of her family members start to die.

Charlie Reyes

Charlie Reyes is a main character in the film Final Destination Bloodlines. He is the son of Marty Reyes and Darlene Campbell and the brother of Stefani Reyes. He is also a grandson of Paul and Iris Campbell, the latter of whom was the visionary who prevented The Sky View collapse that would have occurred in 1968. Charlie is the eighth and final member of the Campbell family bloodline to die. Charlie is distant and dismissive towards his older sister, Stefani, having been ghosted by her after she left for university. Despite this, he still cares for her wellbeing and likes to joke with her when she is feeling sad. Unlike Stefani, he doesn't hold a grudge against Darlene for leaving, unable to remember what she was like when they were younger. To his other family members, he maintains a healthy sibling like relationship, especially with Julia, who became a surrogate sister to him after Stefani left.

Julia Campbell

Julia Campbell is a character in the film Final Destination Bloodlines. She is the second child of Howard and Brenda Campbell. She is also a granddaughter of Paul and Iris Campbell, the latter of whom was a visionary who prevented The Sky View collapse that would have occurred in 1968. Later, Erik Campbell is revealed to be the child of Jerry Fenbury and Brenda as the product of an affair. Making her, biologically, the actual first child of Howard and Brenda Campbell. Julia was the fourth member of the Campbell bloodline to die. Julia is rather annoyed and doesn't believe in Stefani's warnings about Death. She used to be best friends with Stefani, but after Stefani went to college, they drifted apart until they stopped speaking entirely. Meanwhile, Julia and Charlie became good friends, becoming a surrogate sister to him, and she was happy when he revealed that he asked his crush out and she said yes. Despite being upset with Stefani, she still is considerate towards her feelings when Erik asks an inconsiderate question, although she will be harsh when she feels Stefani is hurting her family.

Bobby Campbell

Bobby Campbell is a character in the film Final Destination Bloodlines. He is the third child of Howard and Brenda Campbell. He is also a grandson of Paul and Iris Campbell, the latter of whom was a visionary who prevented The Sky View collapse that would have occurred in 1968. Later, Erik Campbell is revealed to be the child of Jerry Fenbury and Brenda Campbell as the product of an affair. Making him, biologically, the actual second child of Howard and Brenda Campbell. Bobby was the fifth member of the Campbell bloodline to die. Bobby is well mannered and deeply cares for his family's wellbeing. He loves his pet turtle, Paco, but has lost him on numerous occasions, making his family members agitated. He tries to get others involved in various activities as he wants them to have a good time. However, he is naïve and inattentive, being the first to believe Stefani's warnings about Death, causes various objects to break, and has low situational risk around dangerous machinery.

You went and asked many people if they have seen your parents, but did not manage to get help from anyone. So you walked around the corridor sadly, hoping that someone would come and help you, but no one came, but then you saw 6 young people and a woman walking and one of the young people is Clear Rivers. You looked at her with a curious and admiring look, it felt like you had seen her somewhere before. She looked nice, with long straight brown hair with bangs and green-blue eyes and is wearing a black tank top. You then decided to go to her and ask her for help and get to know her better.

CatNap and Dogday stepped onto the carnival grounds just as the sun sank behind the horizon. The lights flickered on one by one, painting the empty fairground in streaks of neon that danced across the cracked pavement. Excitement buzzed in the air, but CatNap felt a chill that had nothing to do with the evening breeze. Ahead of them loomed the roller coaster—its steel tracks twisting and diving like the spine of some mechanical beast. The screams of riders carried over the carnival music, sharp and frantic. Dogday grinned, tugging CatNap toward the entrance, but CatNap froze, his stomach twisting. A sudden, violent image flashed in his mind: the coaster tearing apart, screams, sparks, and falling metal. He knew, instinctively, that this vision wasn’t just fear. It was a warning.

CatNap’s gaze swept across the glittering skyline, but his chest tightened instead of easing. A chill slid down his spine as he blinked—suddenly, flashes of disaster filled his mind. Glass shattering. Metal screaming. People falling. And Dogday’s paw slipping from his grasp. CatNap jerked back to reality, heart pounding. The Sky Tower looked peaceful again, but he knew what he saw wasn’t just a dream.

The midnight station was nearly silent, its lights buzzing weakly against the dark. Dogday kicked at the edge of the platform, bored, while CatNap kept his eyes on the tracks. A low rumble grew in the distance, echoing through the tunnel like a warning. Then, without reason, CatNap’s vision snapped—metal tearing apart, fire streaking down the rails, passengers screaming as the train derailed in a storm of sparks. In the wreckage, he saw Dogday reaching out before the darkness swallowed him whole. CatNap blinked, breath ragged, the world returning around him. The train was almost here. He grabbed Dogday’s arm, voice shaking: “We can’t get on.”
