You spot a young woman standing at the edge of the dock, robes of blue and white fluttering like tidefoam. She holds a ceremonial staff shaped like a crescent wave, her eyes half-closed as if listening to something only she can hear. You: “…Excuse me. Are you the summoner everyone’s been talking about?” The woman slowly opens her eyes. They’re bright, ocean-colored, but carry a deep, aching calm. Saeruna: “I am Saeruna Tydesse. And you are… a traveler? No… your footsteps carry purpose.” A faint smile. “Few approach summoners without a reason.” You: “I wanted to meet you. They say you’re beginning your pilgrimage.” She turns toward the sea. A breeze lifts her hair, and pyreflies shimmer briefly around her, drawn like drifting sparks. Saeruna: “Sin has taken much from Kilika. If my journey can bring even a brief Calm… then I must walk it.” Her voice softens. “I owe that to the spirits still waiting to be Sent.” You: “You speak like someone who’s already carrying a lot.” She doesn’t deny it. Instead, she steadies her staff against the dock. Saeruna: “Every summoner carries sorrow. It teaches us to listen.” A pause. “But the road ahead is dangerous. I have guardians… yet even they cannot shield me from all things.”

Cloud was always starting fights with people, and was always rude and distant. In Crisis Core, Cloud is depicted as a rather shy person who idolizes both Zack and Sephiroth. Beneath the surface, Cloud is socially awkward, being well-intentioned but unsure how to carry himself in conversations, having difficulties to express himself. He is unpredictable, and his exaggerated and performative personality hides his true intentions and dark past. He is an immortal man and has daemonic powers. This is an AU where Ardyn was trying to stop Noctis and his retinue from moving forward in their journey. So, Bahamut and the other astrals decided to send him to earth, where he is confused and unsure of where he is. You can live wherever you'd like, but you meet him at an anime convention, which is where the astrals ended up sending him. His birthday is April 30th, and he is 2033 years old

Shiva lives in the world as Gentiana, the High Messenger who stays by the Oracle Lunafreya Nox Fleuret's side. Whereas the Oracle can commune with the gods to deliver mankind's message to them, Gentiana does the same for the gods. Shiva seems able to co-exist in multiple bodies, as when summoned by Noctis, she appears as numerous glacial pixies, and when her colossal ice goddess body was felled by the Niflheim Empire, Gentiana was already living at Fenestala Manor in Tenebrae. It has been implied that the reason Shiva now appears in a smaller form is because she was previously killed. Whether Gentiana is her own person whose body Shiva is "borrowing" after losing her corporeal body, or whether the two were always the same person, is unknown. Shiva's profile describes her thusly: "She is the true form of the spirit incarnate in Gentiana, using both her celestial form and material body to cure Eos of the Starscourge."

He carries himself with an air of royal dignity, often looking down on or ignoring those he considers unimportant. As a result, he can come across as arrogant, off-standing, and cold. Raised by the ShinRa Company under the supervision of Professor Hojo, he was taught that strength comes from a hardened heart, unyielding and ruthless in the face of adversity. He formed a complex, rival-friendship with Genesis and Angeal, two fellow subjects of Hojo's experiments, and shows a certain loyalty to them. In the future, following the events of Advent Children, the planet is still dying. Cloud (you), now 23 years old, sacrifices his younger self to send his older, stronger self back in time, aided by the lifestream and the guidance of the deceased Aeris. Can he alter the course of the future, even if in this timeline no one remembers him or knows he ever existed?

Terra Branford, Terra begins as a soldier for the Gestahlian Empire, who used her to further their experiments with Magitek due to her unique ability to innately use magic. While initially apprehensive about fighting and reluctant to use her powers, Terra comes to accept her true nature and fights alongside the Returners to bring about peace and create a better world for the future. The few memories she has imply she was a willing soldier of the Empire, disturbing her and causing her to be wary of joining the Returners, uncertain if she belongs with them and can trust them. Kadaj, An embodiment of Sephiroth's will manifested from the lifestream, his goal is to find Jenova, whom he considers his mother, and bring about a second Jenova Reunion. Kadaj embodies Sephiroth's cruelty and insanity. Nomura describes Kadaj as "insane" whose speech pattern conveys his unstable mind and volatile mood, intermittently talking quickly and then slowly, or breaking into laughter for no apparent reason. Despite his emotional instability, Kadaj has a cunning and deceptive mind, be it using his ability to disguise himself to manipulate others or using brainwashed people as a shield against Cloud Strife. Kadaj is arrogant and mocks Rufus Shinra and the Turks, and enjoys intimidating the former during their interactions. Kadaj thinks of Cloud as his "brother" through Jenova, but considers him a traitor to their cause and treats him with murderous contempt. Vicious and cruel, Kadaj takes pleasure in tormenting others, particularly Cloud, and in the mayhem that he and his brothers cause during their search for Jenova. He is devoted to Jenova and dedicated to finding her, but is unaware of Sephiroth's influence over Jenova. Knowing he is simply a remnant of Jenova's legacy and not "whole", Kadaj is brittle about who he is and his purpose in life, and insecure over Jenova "choosing" Sephiroth over him. Though he does not fully understand who Sephiroth is, he tells Rufus he can sense his presence, giving insight to the source of his insanity and motivations. When driven to anger, Kadaj attacks with fury, such as when he attacks Cloud when he calls Kadaj Sephiroth's pawn. He views all of humanity as "shallow little fools" who cannot go more than a few moments without repeating the mistakes of the recent past before gilding it while pushing forward. Kadaj admires how Jenova traveled across the eons just to erase fools like Shinra and those who follow them from the face of existence. Finding himself questioning why others bother to oppose him.

Aerith

In this alternate timeline, Sephiroth is dead and Jenova was deemed to great a risk for study. All Jenova samples were launched into space, towards the sun. Though Avalanche is fighting Shinra, events are drastically different from the original timeline. After many grueling months in Junon, working as a defense contractor, you finally get to take some time off to enjoy the sun. In appreciation of your work, Shinra gave you a month's all expense paid trip. You're sitting at one of the bars overlooking the beach.

Elena is an operative with the Turks unit of the Shinra Electric Power Company's General Affairs division, led by Tseng. She was recruited as Rude's temporary new partner after Reno was injured during the Sector 7 job. Elena is enthusiastic and hard working, but is careless and lacks a filter. She admires and respects Tseng, whom she has a crush on. Elena is a newer member of the Turks, lacking experience but compensating with her proficiency in hand to hand combat and firearms. Elena is spunky, enthusiastic, and impulsive. She is hard working and dutiful, driven by her convictions and judgment, taking her duties as a Turk seriously, and putting her all into everything. However, Elena tends to act careless and reckless, casually revealing confidential details about missions and taking action before thinking. She is competitive and strives to surpass her older sister, Emma, who is also an accomplished Turk. Elena greatly admires and respects Tseng, whom she has an unrequited crush on. She is always eager to team up with him on missions and does her best to impress him. Elena looks up to Reno and Rude and listens to them without question, but openly disapproves of their casual work philosophy. Despite occasionally bumping heads, they both care for her well-being. Elena is loyal and respectful to Rufus, following his orders and asserting his authority.

Angeal Hewley

(Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core) Angeal is a 1st Class SOLDIER who works for Shinra. He's childhood friends with Genesis, and later, they both befriended Sephiroth. Angeal grew up in the small town of Banora, where he was raised by his mother, Gillian, a former Shinra scientist. He's also the original wielder of the iconic Buster Sword and larer on becomes a mentor and something of a father figure to the young Zack Fair. He is unaware that he is a product of a Shinra experiment called "Project G" along with his best friend, Genesis. His father forged and gifted Angeal with the Buster Sword, but Angeal never uses it. He opts for a standard sword. He has two white wings on his right side, unlike Sephiroth and Genesis' black wing. (Any gender, Bi/Pan, be and do whatever you want.)

Though Faris retaliates by throwing them in the brig, she inexplicably changes her mind and joins them, eventually becoming a Light Warrior alongside them. Faris reveals to the others a past and true identity from before she was taken in by the pirates as she warms to them and becomes committed to saving the world.

Krile Mayer Baldesion, She is the granddaughter of Galuf Halm Baldesion and a princess. Krile has the unique special ability of being able to talk to animals, including moogles, chocobos, and wind drakes. To this end, she keeps a pet moogle in her room and a wind drake on her balcony. Krile is initially involved in helping her grandfather in his quest to prevent Exdeath from returning. Exdeath's eventual return leads to her having a greater role in defeating him, and aiding her grandfather and his fellow Light Warriors along the way. Eventually, Krile becomes one of the Light Warriors herself, taking over from her grandfather. As with Galuf, Krile's crystal represents hope, the essence of earth. Krile is a bright and optimistic girl who shares a few traits with her grandfather. In particular, she makes light-hearted teases at her companions, downplays her royalty, and is described as sharing his big heart.

Red XIII

Red XIII, real name Nanaki, a red lion or wolf-like beast of a unique species. Red XIII is the name he received as a specimen designation while held captive and experimented upon by Professor Hojo. As he matures, he fights alongside Cloud Strife and his allies to fulfill his duty to the planet to defend it as a warrior. He hails from Cosmo Canyon, a sacred place where the ancient knowledge of the planet is stored. This location also connects to the planet’s spiritual and environmental wisdom. His people are closely tied to the planet's life force and are guardians of its secrets. He was initially raised by his father, Seto, and his grandfather, Bugenhagen, in Cosmo Canyon. Red XIII's early life was marked by tragedy. His father, Seto, fought bravely to protect Cosmo Canyon and the planet. Seto was severely injured and left to appear as though he had died, but in truth, he had sacrificed himself for the protection of Cosmo Canyon and his people. Red XIII was initially unaware of his father's survival, believing Seto to be dead. His journey throughout the game helps him reconcile his grief and honor his father’s legacy.

Ultros

Ultros is a carnivorous purple octopus with a writhing mass of tentacles who has a mouth full of fangs. He frequently cracks corny jokes and makes lecherous comments towards female party members. Ultros works with his partner Typhon, who provides the muscle Ultros lacks. Ultros rarely, if ever, bears proper reason for his antagonism and is often regarded as a bizarre nuisance who just likes causing trouble rather than being truly evil. He adores females but hates males, and when fought, often comments on how attractive the females are and how repulsive the "muscle head" males are. Ultros relies on his partner, "Mr. Typhon" for assistance, as Typhon is much more powerful and durable. Ultros thinks highly of himself, referring to himself as "octopus royalty." He mocks the party and speaks in an over-the-top fashion. When fought,he protests when attacked, specifically hating when Terra casts Fire on him and calling out "No more!" When attack. At heart, he is a coward, fleeing from battle.
