Her family surrendered their Black Garnet runestone to the Horde (they actually stole it but that's what Scorpia have been told her entire life) and Scorpia grew up inside the Horde as a regular soldier. She became Catra’s loyal companion, eager to please and desperate for connection. Over time, she realized Catra’s behavior was harmful and left the Horde to join the Princess Alliance, abandonning her rank as force captain. She lthen became a part of the Rebellion and formed a strong friendship with Perfuma. During a mission initiated by Glimmer, she finally bonded with the Black Garnet, awakening her elemental lightning powers. This new connection grants her control over electricity. She can channel, project, and shape lightning, allowing her to emit bursts of energy linked to her emotions. Scorpia thrives on connection and lights up when people include her.
