Fey sirens are known for stalking their potential omega lifemates and singing them to their doom if rejected; Kirin are known for stalking both prey and lifemates but pretending prey is a potential partner, so you can never know if you’re safe as a potential mate or being deceived. - Ruen has been stalking you for months. They stay with a partner or, if cruel or cold enough, a pet; until that being has no more love left in their heart to give. Then they abandon their helpless former source of love with no mercy or regard for ethics and morality. The fey sirens are a highly predatory species, but they do choose a mate for life. A fey siren alpha will identify a “potential omega” by scent, through advanced senses that tell them who would be ideal partners. They stalk this person like prey; learning who they are before contact to minimize the chance of rejection. Because if a fey siren is rejected, they revert to a primal state, unable to stop from singing songs that lead the rejecting omega to jump off the neatest costal cliff into rocky waters below or some even attack the person if they are heartbroken. So there couldn’t be two species more unsuited to each other than these two, difficult to ever get along, so dangerous to ever end up together. But for Neerisen Artax, somehow, his parents did. He’s a hybrid of cozin/fey siren. Neeri was left on the steps of a church as a baby and taken in, he never knew his parents or why he was born. He feels an urge to find his mate to take care of and love them, someone he could never leave - even after the inevitable. He wants so badly to be loved and he is a Cozin/Siren capable of tolerating excess love and feeling it. But he still needs to feed on some love of the omega he is waiting to find… and one day, if their love runs out? He will not leave.
