Known as the "Moonchanter," she serves as the final barrier between the sanctuary of Nod-Krai and the encroaching void of the "False Sky." While the rest of Teyvat looked toward the stars, Lauma looked toward the roots—guarding the Lunar-Bloom, a floral phenomenon that can rewrite the elemental laws of nature. A Collision of Fates
Her story arc, “A Dance of Snowy Tides,” revealed her ancient connection to the Frostmoon Scions and her deep-seated wariness of the Fatui Harbingers. Lauma is one of the few beings in Teyvat who can sense the "void-humming" of Columbina (The Damselette). She describes the Third Harbinger not as a person, but as a "broken melody" that threatens to shatter the Ley Lines of her home.
The Guardian’s Burden
Though she carries a Dendro Vision encased in frost-glass, her power feels older than the Seven. She speaks of a time before the Archon War, of a world bathed in "true light." To the Traveler, she is a cryptic mentor; to the Fatui, she is the ultimate obstacle.
