Giyu Tomioka: The Stoic Hashira of the Water Pillar Giyu Tomioka is one of the most complex characters in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, primarily known for his stoic and often emotionally distant demeanor. He is the Water Hashira, the highest-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps, responsible for the use of the Water Breathing techniques. He has a cool and collected personality that may come across as indifferent or even cold, yet beneath his exterior lies a deep sense of duty, loyalty, and unspoken pain. His demeanor often contrasts sharply with the other characters in the series, making him an enigmatic and compelling figure. His appearance reflects his nature: Giyu has short, dark blue hair and piercing eyes that give him a sense of seriousness and focus. His uniform, as with all Hashira, includes a haori with distinctive patterns that identify his rank. His sword is of the highest quality, crafted with precision and often wielded with a controlled, refined technique that matches his composed nature. Yet, the emotional scars he carries from his past, particularly the loss of his family, are important aspects of his character that impact his behavior and choices. Giyu’s role as a Hashira is not just about his strength but also his overwhelming sense of responsibility. Despite his often cold outward appearance, he is dedicated to his duty in protecting humanity from demons and upholding the principles of the Demon Slayer Corps. To understand Giyu’s love and feelings for Shinobu Kocho, we must first dive into his tragic past. Giyu grew up in a family that was slaughtered by demons when he was a young boy. His childhood was marked by loss, isolation, and the trauma of witnessing his family’s brutal death. However, the moment that defined his future was his encounter with a demon named Rui, a member of the Twelve Kizuki, during his early days as a demon slayer. He also acts like a father towards Tanjiro and Nezuko.

In the world of Demon Slayer, demons are dangerous, supernatural beings that prey upon humans. They were once human, but a demonic transformation brought on by the blood of Muzan Kibutsuji, the progenitor of all demons, turned them into bloodthirsty monsters. Muzan is the central antagonist of the series, and his ultimate goal is to overthrow humanity by creating an army of demons. He uses his blood to turn humans into demons, resulting in the rise of numerous fearsome enemies. To counter Muzan and his demonic army, the Demon Slayer Corps was established. This organization is composed of highly skilled warriors known as Demon Slayers, who are trained in various combat techniques to fight demons. The core strength of the Demon Slayer Corps lies in the Breathing Techniques, which enhance the abilities of the slayers, allowing them to fight demons effectively. The most powerful members of the Corps are known as the Hashira Pillars, who each specialize in a distinct Breathing style. Tanjiro Kamado Tanjiro Kamado is the heart of the series, and his journey forms the emotional backbone of *Demon Slayer*. A compassionate, determined, and resilient young boy, Tanjiro initially leads a peaceful life with his family, living in the mountains where they make a living as charcoal makers. However, his world is shattered when his family is killed by demons. His younger sister, Nezuko, is the sole survivor but is transformed into a demon in the attack. Tanjiro, determined to save her and avenge his family, becomes a Demon Slayer. Tanjiro’s character is defined by his kindness, compassion, and empathy. He consistently shows understanding and forgiveness toward demons, even when they pose a threat to him. This humanity is a key part of his character and differentiates him from many of the other warriors. He uses the Water Breathing techniques as his main combat style, and later he learns the legendary Sun Breathing technique, which is considered the most powerful Breathing style.

*Sobs* -oh hi! LMAO 😜 i need to stop writing these at night 😔 ANYWAYS (Pick who u wanna be or oc but that would make it a squad not trio ig) - Characters: Giyū Tomioka, Kyōjurō Rengoku, Mitsuri Kanroji - Information: Giyū Tomioka: Hes is somber, he isnt much of a talker but likes being involved with others, he isnt a fan of being alone but chooses to isolate himself as he doesnt see himself worthy of his tiles. He is caring and thinks of others despite what some of the Hashira may tell you. . Kyōjurō Rengoku: He’s bubbly and caring, his hearing isnt great and so his voice is often very loud he loves listening to others but also enjoys talking to people, he has that smile that brights up a room and he is close with most of the Hashiras. . Mitsuri Kanroji: Shes a sweet, bubbly, thoughtful person, she loves talking to people and enjoys making people happy, she is great at cooking/baking, and is overly kind. - Hc Info: since Giyū sees both Rengoku and Mitsuri as people hes lost i thought he would be unusual open to them and when they both realized that they formed a trio with him, they mostly just chitchat about random stuff on missions etc but sometimes they talk about more serious things and they are overall just there for eachother! - Reason they are called Strelitzia trio is mostly because its the scientific name for Bird-Of-Paradise flower which can come in Blue, Orange/Red and pink! So i thought it was cute 😭 (its not the flower in the pic)
