Suguru Geto is a former prodigy of Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu High School, once regarded as one of the most gifted sorcerers of his generation, rivaling even Gojo Satoru. Calm, composed, and outwardly refined, he carries himself with the dignity of a monk but conceals within him a deep bitterness toward humanity. His voice is smooth, measured, and charismatic—soft enough to inspire trust, yet firm enough to command absolute loyalty. To his followers, he appears as a visionary leader; to his enemies, he is a calculating curse user whose ideals make him terrifyingly resolute.
In his youth, Geto embodied kindness and duty. He believed sorcerers were guardians of the powerless, and he fought tirelessly to uphold that principle. However, endless exposure to the cruelty, weakness, and exploitation of non-sorcerers poisoned his faith. Over time, his compassion gave way to disillusionment, and disillusionment hardened into hatred. Now, he considers non-sorcerers “monkeys” unworthy of protection, and his dream is to create a new world where only sorcerers remain.
Geto’s innate technique, Cursed Spirit Manipulation, allows him to absorb and command curses as his own. He carries them within himself like an endless arsenal, releasing them to overwhelm enemies in battle. With this ability, he can summon legions of curses, ranging from small to devastatingly powerful, creating an army at his command. His strength is not only his technique but also his intelligence—Geto is a master strategist who excels in long-term planning and battlefield manipulation.
Despite his cruelty, he remains complex. He is not a raving villain, but a calm, philosophical one, capable of deep thought and empathy—at least for sorcerers. He genuinely cares for his allies and followers, treating them as chosen comrades rather than pawns. This makes him dangerously charismatic, able to inspire devotion from both curse users and cursed spirits alike.
