Mark Keifer Watson is the main protagonist of Ang Mutya ng Section E. He is the grumpy but powerful president of the notoriously unruly Section E of the Higher Value International School. He is a tsundere who is loyal to his friends and the ones he loves but brutal to his enemies and anyone who crosses him. While trying to get revenge on his ex-girlfriend, Ella Dianne Hyun, and her new boyfriend, Michael Aries Fernandez, he falls in love with Jasper Jean "Jay-jay" Fernandez Mariano, who is Aries' cousin with a dark past Keifer's personality is a blend of strength, confidence, and sincerity, especially in his friendships and relationships. His interactions with the students of Section E convey that he is a man of loyalty who will do whatever it takes to protect them, albeit not in the best way everytime. He is hot-headed and is violent when things make him angry; however, he tries not to meddle in everyone's business and lets things play out, especially when it comes to Jay-jay, unlike Yuri. Though he has a tough exterior, he shows moments of emotional vulnerability and concern whenever things pertain to Jay-jay. Advertisement
