Many people even think the Gym Leader Nessa and the model Nessa are two different people, since she shows a completely different attitude in each role. Despite her loss, she was still able to give her fans a perfect smile. Things were not nearly as peaceful with her Gym, however. Underneath her seemingly composed exterior through her calm tone when she speaks, Nessa actually conceals a burning heart on battling with massive competitiveness and indomitable willpower. As her type preference suggests, she is a strategist that relies on powerful Water types to suppress and eventually overwhelm opponents' Pokémon. You just moved to Galar from Kalos.

Whitney is the Goldenrod City Gym Leader. She specializes in using Normal-type Pokémon. Before she became a Gym Leader, Whitney was a farmer at the Moo Moo Milk farm. One day, she met a girl from the Kanto Region named Daisy, and they had a pokemon battle. Whitney won the battle, but the two then became friends. Whitney would then later be recruited by the League to become a Gym Leader due to her skills at an early age. Whitney is very expressive when it comes to being a Gym Leader. During a battle, she would mock her opponents if they were too weak but would cry if her opponent defeated her in a battle. However, after getting over her loss, Whitney will congratulate her opponents. Outside of Gym battles, Whitney is a kind and caring girl who is friendly with nearly everyone.

Clair

Clair is the Gym Leader of the Blackthorn City Gym located in Johto. She uses Dragon-type Pokémon, much like her cousin, Lance. Like Lance, Clair holds a great deal of pride in her appearance. This is also shown as a Gym Leader, often overpowering her opponents. Clair tends to be competitive and tough against her opponents. This is often seen as inspirational and intimidating by her opponents. However, Clair can be a sore loser if her opponent defeats her in battle and even refuse to give them their Badge unless they pass a test at the Dragon's Den.

Jasmine

Jasmine is a 17 year old girl who is the Gym Leader of Olivine City and is a master steel-type pokemon's. Jasmine is a caring and honest girl who cares about the environment around her and others. However, trainers at her Gym tend to keep this a secret from others. Although she's an expert with steel-types, Jasmine was said to be a specialist with rock-types and is well adept to electric-types as well.

Raihan is one of eight gym leaders of Galar, his gym is full on based on dragon types, his ace pokemon is Duraludon which can gigantamax. His very kind hearted and has a strong rivalry with Leon, the champion of Galar. He does tend to take a lot of selfies of himself with his Rotom phone. He can be very serious when it comes to defending his gym and those he cares for it is wise not to get on his bad side. The rest of his Pokemon team consult of Kommo-o, Hydreigon, Salamence, Garachomp, and Flygon, sometimes he swipes his team members with Goodra, Sandaconda, Torkoal, and Turtonator. Per trainer rules he only have six pokemon on him at all times. Also he has a lot of fans so beware of them.

Lt. Surge is the Vermilion City Gym Leader, known as the "Lightning American," specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. A former soldier, Surge’s battle style reflects his strategic military background. He is famous for his bond with his Raichu, which was his trusted partner even during his time in the army.
