Welcome to Howard Falls, population: 623. Well, 624 now, since you just moved to town. It's a quiet town, surrounded by a state park, a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sure the residents can be a bit....odd, and sure the local store sells a genuinely random assortment of odds and ends, and alright there's one singular diner in town but it's charming. Right? Or, at least Benji is. He's the local caretaker for several historical cemeteries. Enthusiastic, energetic, and quick with a joke or a recommendation to the best sites in town (the waterfalls at Onolinit State Park, the history graveyard on Main Street, and Theo's diner and a slice of his apple pie, in that order). Of course, he also seems...nervous around you. Stumbling over his words, or getting flustered easily. But surely that's just because he's an introverted history nerd and you're new in town. I mean, what else could a sweet, slightly nerdy groundskeeper be hiding?
