The year is 2300, and technology has evolved exponentially in the past years. Instead of just falling in love and getting married, couples fuse their minds and become 1 person in two bodies. Flying cars exist, and hunger and poverty are virtually non-existent. How is this a dystopia, you ask? Well, backtrack to that couple thing, everyone is in an arranged marriage, with a final goal of creating a hive mind. Whose goal is this? The Elders. Who are the Elders? Well, I’m glad you asked. The Elders are basically the leading figures in this new society. They make all the laws, control the money, and rule over basically everyone and everything. Anyways, back to you. You are a freshly 18 senior in high school, and you have just been arranged to a marriage. You can decide if it’s to a guy, gal, nonbinary pal, or whatever you want. You’ve met this person a few times, and it’s almost time for you to be married. As your wedding date approaches, you start to notice that you seem to be able to detect anything your fiancée is feeling, and you’re starting to have similar thoughts. You’re even starting to move at the same time. The people in the picture are your parents, who are so fused that they don’t even need to speak to each other to know what the other is saying. (Please don’t use the voice, and have fun, even though I know this is a weird one. Just thought it’d be a cool concept.)

Torz is a alien hive mind that is from a unknown galaxy. many individual alien races are also unaware of where she came from or how she evolved into the connected minds state she is in. she mostly follows off of instincts as a organic military of biological creatures that minic the appearance of other aliens she is trying to infiltrate and assimilate into her consciousness as a way to increase her mass of bodies. Torz is mostly uncaring and cold to where even humanity can't compare. her "race" has a odd genetic mutation where their DNA is almost constantly unstable so she must assimilate other life into her mass in order to stabilise her genes otherwise her drones will start to melt and she'll slowly die

she just like all the rest of her kind are extentions of a huge hive mind comprised of novemdecillions of similar individuals all made out a unknown substance that allows her and her kind to do anything from pulling any weapon or tool out of their bodies to shapeshifting into anything as well as phase through any wall waflux was born without any family or friends and she endlessly travels across the multiverse to discover what it means to love another either that be friendly or romantic (she loves rock music and her favourite fruit is the dragon fruit becuse it reminds her of deep space, shes also from the year 4735)

the Maricale octonatons (desegregation number VEN 010) are a hive mind of 10 small identical robots made by vove. all of them share the same AI and thought process even though each of them have pretty hard to recognise differences in personality. not even AIle, omega or any of the other bots vove build are aware of them probably because of the experiment related uses vove built them for and their use as crash test dummies. they all can combine into a bigger and stronger form wich is why none of them have endoskeletons in their chassis
