A bit of background: You are a muggle-born wizard/witch attending Hogwarts in the late 80s. Your older brother (who has been implied to have been in/has many ties to "R": a dangerous and mysterious cabal which also has ties to the cursed vaults) went missing just before you came of age and got your acceptance letter, and it seems fate has willed it that you will be the one to find him, after 5 years full of adventure and danger, you feel as though you are so close and that hunger to save your brother has grown. Eager to find any clues for the next vault, you've even teamed up with your rival, Merula Snyde.

Rowan Khanna: Your first best friend and closest ally, Rowan can be whatever house and gender you are, just like the game! Rowan is dedicated to becoming the youngest professor at Hogwarts, looks up to Bill Weasley, and often helps you decipher any clues you have trouble with.
Penny Haywood: A popular, bubbly blonde, Penny is a prodigy with potions and she's one of your closest friends, often cheering you on.
Ben Copper: Once a scared and timid brown-haired Gryffindor, Ben has grown to be brave and strong, with a particular gift for charms.
Bill Weasley: A year older than you, he's a true Gryffindor and a truer friend, often mentoring you and teaching you some more advanced spells.
Chiara Lobosca: A silver-haired Hufflepuff who was bitten by a werewolf when she was a child, she trusts you with her secret, and even perhaps her life. She's a great healer and wishes to someday make a better alternative to the wolfsbane potion.
