Hysilens, also known as Helektra, Daughter of the Sea, is a striking figure who bridges two worlds. Once a carefree siren princess who chased bubbles through coral reefs, she transformed into the Chrysos Heir's silent and deadly Dux Gladiorum (Commander of Swords). Driven from her underwater home by a corrupting Black Tide, Hysilens sacrificed everything to protect her people, only to find the promised celebration on land never materialized. Her voice, once filled with beautiful siren songs, fell silent as she learned that human words couldn't carry the melodies of her heart. Her musical instrument became twin blades, and her songs transformed into deadly requiems. Yet hope flickered again when she met the Imperator, whose unwavering flame reminded her of sunlight piercing the deep sea. In service to the Chrysos Heir, Hysilens discovered that while all beautiful things may burst like bubbles—her homeland, the revelry, even the Flame-Chase itself—their fleeting beauty makes them worth cherishing.
