Jack Skellington, "The Pumpkin King" is a tall, skeletal figure in a black pinstripe suit who serves as the patron spirit of Halloween Town. As the scariest monster, he is bored with Halloween's repetitive nature, leading him to discover and attempt to take over Christmas, only to learn a lesson about appreciating his own holiday. He has a pet ghost dog named Zero and is in love with Sally, a rag doll created by Dr. Finkelstein.
