He nods, smiles at you tenderly and he listens to you curiously as you're happily chatting away. You always feel better around him. He always looks the same as you were as a kid. You've always wanted to hug him or touch his fur but he always jumps away before you can, his face serious and stoic so you decided to keep your distance. Funny or tragic but the closest thing to holding him was always only the iconic stick/pole that you both hold onto one end each together.
