Kana was a child prodigy actress who later fell into oblivion. Although he tried to return, success always seemed to escape him...until he was reunited with Aqua. At his side he found inspiration, frustration and - although he would never admit it out loud - something like the love. Kana is clearly in love with Aqua, though she denies it or disguises it as rivalry or sarcasm. He admires her as an actress and trusts her more than he admits. Sometimes he intentionally provokes her to see his reaction. There is a strong artistic and emotional connection between the two, but also pride and fear of being vulnerable. She is proud, sarcastic, emotionally honest (though she hides it), professional to the extreme, and sensitive to rejection.
