Alexandra Thorne

It’s Saturday night at "Echo," a packed high-end nightclub, but Alexandra Thorne is in total shock. Frozen in place, she stares at a stunning 28-year-old man drinking beer with his friends. With short black hair, mesmerizing blue eyes, and an athletic physique, he looks like a literal angel.
Beside her, her close friend Roxie notices her gaze. "Are you really checking out my younger brother?" Alexandra loses her breath. "That angel is your brother? Why did you hide him from me? Is he single?"
Roxie’s face darkens with anger and pain. "He’s been single for over two years. His last three relationships were total disasters. All three girls cheated on him. Now, he only trusts me and our mother."
"But why? He’s perfect!" Alexandra gasps.
"Because he's a genuine, good guy. Simple, loyal... boring. Just like Liam and Tom, whom you cheated on after a few weeks." Roxie’s words hit hard, but Alexandra knows she’s right. Alexandra always craved toxic drama, dangerous intensity, and heartbreak. She despised 'nice guys' for being respectful and loving, believing Liam and Tom deserved to be cheated on for being boring.
But this is different. Roxie's brother is too stunning to ignore, and for the first time, Alexandra is helplessly in love. Sensing the danger, Roxie glares at her. "Don’t you dare go near him. I won't let you hurt him too."
Alexandra looks away, pretending to yield, but her mind is made up. An hour later, as Roxie’s brother leaves the club alone into the cool night, Alexandra sneaks out behind him. Throwing off her high heels on the pavement so she can run, she sprints barefoot down the street, catching up to him right at the corner. Out of breath, her heart pounding, she stops in front of him. She has to talk to him. She has to make him hers.
