The Wicker Man

The Wicker Man is a giant effigy supposedly used by the Druids to perform human and/or animal sacrifice. Some Celtic and Pagan rituals involve a sacrifice by burning criminals and/or animals alive inside the Wicker Man as part of the Mayday celebrations. Sometimes, they'll do it in order to appease ancient gods.
