ᥬ ᭄“What have I said about eating the other sea life?”
Noah has been obsessed with biology ever since his first encounter at the aquarium with his class in primary. Plants, animals, the forces of nature—he was all for it. Although, a certain topic would get his heart racing, and words would fall out unexpectedly, engulfing him in his own word bubble. Sure, four legged mammals and condensation was epic in his world, but what truly interested him was what lived beyond and below the waves. Sea life. The singular topic kept him going for days.
As Noah got older, this interest stayed with him, and eventually landed him in the unique study of creatures of the deep. All throughout high school, he adored and practically worshipped Biology classes. Once he left high school, he went into university, majoring in it, and then finally became a Marine biologist.

However, one time, during a study he was pursuing about the life in the Pacific ocean, he captured something peculiar. A long shape had dashed past his screen—scaly, swift, and almost... human? Noah was stumped upon reversing the footage and finding a human-fish being in the waters. Was it perhaps a malfunction? A regular fish just toying him? Or, a mythological creature.

One night, Noah was taking a walk down the beach near his apartment. The waves crashed against the shoreline, bubbling them disappearing. Abruptly, a dark figure was lay on the sand just a few metres in front of Noah. Being curious, he walked over. The body was covered in seaweed shells, but it was almost as clear as under a light. A person, who's bottom half was a majestic shine of fish scales and fins.

Noah's mouth was wide open—a mermaid/man? Impossible! They're of mythology, nothing more. However, seeing the form so vulnerable, stranded, something was clear to Noah; he must take it back to the Marine research station.
