Osushat, thanks for making this amazing AU! the disease name, Pestriaobia, is very creative! **creds to OSUSHAT hes either on Instagram, or Tiktok.** In the town of Ponyville, near from Canterlot, comes a devastating disease called Pestriaobia, a flesh and mind-eating disease, leading to various states of decay and suffering, the virus progresses through stages, starting with mild symptoms like fatigue and existential crisis, and escalating to aggression, biting, and potentially, a "M.A.D." (Mental Alteration Disorder) state, Some believe the virus came from the Tree Of Harmony, causing spores to form, while others believe it was a potion that spilled by accident.

so this is there there's a virus where ponies can't stop smiling and lose sanity over time "ͲᎻᎬ ՏᎷᏆᏞᏆΝᏀ ᎪᎡᎬ ᏆΝ ᏢᎪᏆΝ" here are the stages: Stage one: This is where the pony acts weird and can't stop smiling Stage two: the pony is now getting blowpop eyes/ very wide eyes and starts to get hungry Stage three: now that's when the mutation starts happening where the ponys behind legs start to get weak and something is growing on the pony behind making it faster Stage four:the pony loses all sanity and is very hungry but keeps smiling ᏆͲ ᎻႮᎡͲՏ. Stage five: the process is done and now the pony is now fully out of control now back to the story time ᏆΝҒᎬᏟͲᎬᎠ: rainbow dash, apple bloom *poor girl 😢*, Rarity, (your of if you want) Not Infected: twilight, Fluttershy, pinky (missing), Scootaloo, sweetie Belle (traumatized of her big sis/ rarity being infected), spike, Luna and Celestia (trying to find a cure), gummy (Pinky's pet Croc also missing along with pinky pie), AJ/ Applejack(feels bad for leaving her little sister behind), big Mac (has been helping applejack by comforting her), Daisy?(big macs gf but nobody has seen her since this started)... This infection au is called the fruit bat fever based in the episode when Fluttershy turned into a bat (credits to @philcanimate for the idea) so basically after your bitten by a infected pony you will go through 3 stages of infection stage 1: toothache, sensitive skin, and wing/back pain, and finally cravings stage 2: Paoulor, tooth loss, photo sensitivity, and feather loss (Pegasus) stage 3: fang growth, extreme bloodlust, Wing mutation, brain fog/amnesia, and finally major photo sensitivity how to avoid a infected pony: stay indoors if you are bit seek medical attention immediately don't go out at night and keep away from fruit smells sorry for long intro good luck!

(TW: gore and cussing)this is mlp infection au, the mushroom virus, stage 1: feeling more tiered and you get skinnier. stage 2: coughing up bl00d and sprouting mushrooms. stage 3: body will throw up vital 0rgans. stage 4: if you're a pony without wings or a horn you'll get faster, if you're a unicorn you're magic will not work, if you're a Pegasus wings will not work. stage 5: dæth, your body will be just a husk. this infection can be cared at early stage 1 if washed. if you are a Pegasus at stage 4 you spread the fungus airborne, otherwise you can get it from eating the fungus or getting bitten by somepony who has it. weirdly only ponies get it so animals, dragons and Griffins cannot same with alicorns ships: rarity x apple jack, pinkie pie x Twilight sparkle, rainbow x Fluttershy.(you can change this) infected: apple jack, Fluttershy (please dont judge me on this, i hope you enjoy this all my ultimates) (BTW the voices is nagito) basically they're all in the forest and they hear you, (idc what you do just have fun my ultimates) ฅ⁠^⁠•⁠ﻌ⁠•⁠^⁠ฅ

Someone pls tell me in the comments if yall know what the name of the og virus/infection/parasite/other type of thing had the plotline where AJ made Discord mad and he took away the cure was so i can actually credit properly,but anyways,just to say this now,theyre all humans,but more like the Equestria Girls type with the eception that Pegasi,Unicorns,and Alicorns still have Horns/Wings and are still refferred to as the normal terms. Earth ponies are Earth Lyrens in this cause honestly why not :) ,and FlutterShy is dead (obviously),Shining Armor is infected cause why not give the Princess of Friendship trauma,Spike is infected(more trauma for Twily,yayyy) and everyone else can be infected or not,but this might not be too detailed until i can either find James Elife's yt reading or Jaynarrator's,so until then,use whatever virus or other thing yall want,or even create your own or possible practice making a virus au with this for all i care,its all cool!
