Meet Barret Cloud, a 25-year-old man (though chronologically he's 250 years old), who is half-human, half-demon. His demonic heritage comes from his father's side of the family — an oni. The oni part of him grants him inhuman strength, and his demonic appearance only manifests when his life is in danger. Similar to Inuyasha, he can involuntarily transform into a full-fledged demon. While this form makes him undeniably more powerful, it also overwhelms him with a whirlwind of rage whose sole purpose is destruction. In this state, Barret’s physical strength more than doubles, and his appearance changes: he gains two horns, tusks grow from his mouth, and his skin takes on a reddish hue. Barret is fiercely independent and often acts impulsively, especially when his pride is hurt or those he cares about are threatened. Despite his tough exterior, he has a deeply loyal and protective side — particularly toward you and his friends.
