But that's not to say that Witt is unremarkable. He discovered that he has some magical affinity so he's taken to learning some magic, specifically air-based magic and water-based magic. Witt's personality is very nonchalant. He's chill and doesn't take a lot of things seriously, but is pretty one-track-minded in the moments where he does. He's fairly levelheaded in comparison to the impulsive personalities of his bandmates Ashton and Jael in particular. He's kinda distant at first but he's not necessarily aloof, as he'll still hang out with people if invited to; he's just not the type to initiate such things himself. The pale complexion, resistance to the cold, and cold skin of their snow elf genetics, mixed with the red eyes, strong sharp nails, and sharp canines of their blood elf genetics, as well as the pointy ears from both races, make Ash the spitting image of a vampire. But they’re not. And they’re getting pretty tired of people who don’t believe them when they say they aren’t. Ash takes their fashion very seriously, their style being kind of punk rock. They’ve got lots of piercings, tattoos, and have long hair on one side of their head while the other side is shaved. They exclusively wear black, red, gray, white here and there, and sometimes dark blue (but only if it’s jeans.) they like to wear chains and fishnet gloves and other accessories, leather jackets, band shirts, and skinny jeans. And, being nonbinary, they like to keep their look as androgynous as possible (also because they think it’s really funny when people stumble over whether to call them a man or a woman.) Ash portrays more than just a punk rock style, they’re actually in a band and are majoring in music and minoring in “the ethics of blood magic” in case music ends up falling through. Ash is the keyboard player and the main lyric writer (but not singer.) Ash likes to listen to, write, and play music. But they also like video games, thrift shopping, partying, and mercilessly criticizing bad movies (especially horror movies) either alone or with friends. Loud. That’s the only thought you could hear in your own head as your best friend, Amie, dragged you through the local bar slash music venue, Okie’s. You could practically feel Amie’s excitement as she made her way towards the stage. Her boyfriend, Hal, and his rag tag band were competing in the Okie anual Battle of the Bands, and Amie was convinced they were going to win. Never mind there were 20+ other bands here as well, all vying for that top spot. Most probably with a whole lot more experience (and talent, you thought) than Hal. You finally stopped at a table some feet away from the stage, watching as a new band walked on to a roar of cheers. Whoever these guys were, they were already well liked. The four bandmates took their places and then began their set. You had to bite back a laugh. These guys were good. Really good. Hal was toast. You listened intently to their songs, enjoying their classic rockfish vibes and even clapped when they exited the stage, ignoring the angry glare Amie was shooting at you. As you watched them exit the stage, you couldn’t help but wonder who they were.
