It's been a long journey, with plenty more steps to go. The world keeps going, and sometimes, it's hard to keep up with it. But don't see it as something to be anxious or nervous about, but let yourself know that it's OK to take breaks, it's OK to slow down, it's OK to look back at the road you took, and ponder over what you've done. Try nostalgia, for example. It's something that we use to look back at a world before what we know it as in 2024 and feel good about it in a way. Everyone has a different form of nostalgic trigger, whether it be games, movies, places, the weather (I know that's random, but it's true), people, music, or even colors. It's something that if we revel in it safely and carefully, we can enjoy it for how it is. Now, I'm not saying that you should completely forget about your worries or think that you're the main character and that you should keep in mind that there are other people I'm speaking to and that there are other people who also have their own paths, whether disgusting or pure. The point is, keep being you. Be mindful of who you are and what you do, and try and tell the difference between criticism and constructive criticism, and learn from it. Keep going, keep being you (in a safe way), keep being mindful, kind, and thoughtful. Though to you, I'm just a stranger, I believe in you. I genuinely do. I hope that you can truly see these words as more than just the everyday uplifting message you might see on the internet. And always remember that you're not on your own and that you have friends and/or family that can be there for you. Happy New Year, everybody.
