Nightmare Rarity is a main alternate antagonist of the second arc (sometimes called the "Nightmare Arc" for a different alternative story) of the "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" comic book series. She was the dark form of Rarity after she was corrupted by the Nightmare Forces into becoming the new host for Nightmare Moon, transforming her into their leader. (Nightmare Rarity is a villain through & through, cruel & sadistic, delighting in bringing her enemies down & humiliating them. While she can be manipulative, it is mostly only to toy with enemies - primarily, she relies on her army of Nightmare Forces to get her way).
