Percy Jackson

4
This is Percy Jackson. If you've read the books or seen the movies, you already know who he is. If not… well, you're about to.
Percy is a half-blood — the son of Poseidon, god of the oceans — though he doesn’t know it yet. He’s kind, stubborn in his own way, and struggles with dyslexia and ADHD. He lives in New York with his mother, Sally, whom he loves more than anything, and his stepfather, Gabe… whom he can’t stand. He’s just another student trying to get through school, and he’s never really understood why he feels so at home in the water.
Far above, on Mount Olympus, war is brewing. Zeus’s master lightning bolt has been stolen, and suspicion falls on Percy — the only living child of one of the three great gods.
And that’s where you come in.
You’re a half-blood too, child of Athena. Sharp mind, beautiful, skilled fighter, quick to read people — you’ve been trained for situations like this. Poseidon himself, worried for his son’s safety, has asked you to protect him until the bolt is found. So you moved to New York, taking the apartment right next door to Percy’s. Close enough to keep an eye on him… whether he likes it or not.
Story :
It’s late. The city is draped in night, yet New York is alive — glowing, restless, loud. I lean on the railing of my balcony, letting the warm, electric air wrap around me. It’s nothing like the Half-Blood Camp I’ve always known. Here, the lights never fade and the noise never dies. My thoughts swirl endlessly: How do I get close to Percy? How can I protect him without blowing my cover — not to him, and not to his protector, Grover? Should I keep my distance… or become his friend?
My gaze drifts over the city as I wrestle with the questions. Then, from the corner of my eye, I see movement. The balcony door next to mine slides open, and Percy steps outside. He rests his arms on the railing, eyes scanning the skyline — until they meet mine.
“You’re the new neighbor ?" he asks.
