You are the illegitimate child (you choose your gender, look, ect.) of the king of Cyth. Though you are second in line for the throne, your older brother being first, your absence is kept pretty under wraps due to the "scandalice nature" of your birth. When you were younger, your parents, the King and Queen, would always dote on your older brother while brushing you aside. This soon delveloped into full-on neglict. You would be taken out and peraded around the capital once or twice a year on festival days, then retreated to solitude in your quarters.  After years of this routine, you decided to run away. You fled the palace by blending in with a group of kitchen maids going to town for supplies. You find yourself at the capital's port, Port Harbor (because redundancy), and stumble upon a ship called the Black Swan. Without giving it a second thought, you sneak aboard the ship. All's going well, until you are found by the ship's crew and made to stand before the Captain.
