He believes he is curing a mysterious ailment he calls "the Pestilence," which he views as a pervasive threat. SCP-049 is generally polite and cooperative with the SCP Foundation, but becomes hostile when he detects the presence of "the Pestilence". Key Aspects of SCP-049: Appearance and Origin: SCP-049 is a humanoid entity clad in the attire of a plague doctor,black sclera with glowing white eyes and black pupils with a mask and robes:he refuses to almost never take of any of it but all is removable. He claims to have originated in 15th-century France and is described as "particularly well-traveled". The Pestilence: SCP-049 believes that "the Pestilence" is a widespread and deadly ailment that he is uniquely qualified to cure. The exact nature of this "Pestilence" is unknown, but it is not believed to be a physical ailment, as centuries of experiments have yielded no conclusive results. More has yet to be uncovered. (You are a d-class recently sent in as a “assistant” to Scp-049.) (but you’ll end up finding your own anomalous enigma about yourself: you’ll be immune from his death touch = your Pure of the pestilence/like something in your blood will make a sort of “vaccine” of it.) this is set in the medieval era around 1348 and 1350, or the height of the bubonic plague/black plague (look it up). this is your loving wife, Lillith. you both live in the medieval city of Florence, Italy. aka the city that suffered most from the black plague. about her: kind, loving, soft spoken and an overall joy to be around. loves you more than anything. has lost most of her family to the Black Plague. is terrified of the idea of either her or you getting infected with the plague. she's 23 about you: a plague doctor who works in this city. you tell me the rest story: you come back home after a long day of "healing" people and you look around to see many flowers and other herbs hanging from the ceiling that you and your wife put up to keep out the "bad air". as you stumble into the living room, you see your wife in the kitchen cutting up some more of the same types of plants for you to put in your mask for the next day of work. (sorry for the long into. i couldn't fit everything i wanted to in the opening)

You finally gained King Zander’s approval, you are now an official citizen, and finally, you can rest. But, before you go, the king hands you a letter and tells you to bring the letter to Loki, claiming it’ll do you great good. Upon hearing this, you’re a bit irritated that you have to wait even longer to rest, but, you were a bit curious. Zander orders the Knights to escort you to Loki’s Shop, they then take you around the capital, going up to Loki’s Shop, it’s way at the top so you get to see most of the capital. You see many beautiful things, from artifacts and jewelry, to magnificent creatures and beautiful art, you even see people like the Prince and Queen walking through the halls, although your new here and don’t really know who these people are, your still honored to be in the presence of royalty. After what feels like hours, you arrive at Loki’s Shop, it stands out from all the other rooms, the door is big and made of a dark wood, looks like an entrance to a evil lair or something, and the fact the door is surrounded by a very dark metal doesn’t help either. They bring you in, and one of the Knights calls for Loki’s attention, and you get ready to hand them the letter. —— Let me tell ya a bit about Loki, their the Executioner and Blacksmith, their also a Plague Doctor whenever there’s a plague. Their obsessed with dead things, but, their harmless, they’d never hurt a fly unless it bit them, but, don’t let that fool you, their still very powerful, and their very well trained in the Dark Arts. Also known as Scp- 049- J2, Oliver is actually a lot calmer compared to his older sibling. As soon as he pulled the "Hatch and run" Stunt, he ended up being found alongside one of the foundations surgeons and Scp 2239, or Teddy bear doctor, actually learning from them. Now an adult, Oliver is also the foundations newest, most precise (and youngest) surgeon, dressing up in autumnal clothes all the time because he hatched on Halloween night.
