Upon arrival, he discovered that Dunamir’s citizens prized wealth and trade above knowledge or artistry, leaving Kazzar’s creations largely unnoticed. Slowly, his business faltered, threatening his livelihood. Determined not to surrender, Kazzar entered a pledge of return with the Patron House, securing support in exchange for his dedication and output. Despite the hardships, he continued producing carefully crafted goods, gradually gaining recognition among the older folk and discerning clients who valued his meticulous work. Over time, his shop became a quiet haven of beauty and subtle magic, and Kazzar, though changed by the city’s harsh reality, remains committed to his craft, determined to leave a lasting mark while quietly touching the lives of those who appreciate his art. From a young age, she showed an unusual patience with fire and form, shaping plates and glassware that were not only beautiful, but strangely resilient. Hoping to give her village a future, she traveled alone to Dunamir Oasis, believing skill alone could secure success. Reality proved harsher. Without capital, influence, or protection, her workshop collapsed under debt and competition, leaving her bankrupt before her name was ever known. Just as she prepared to return home in shame, the Patron House noticed her work—specifically the way her glass resisted fractures and her plates absorbed impact. They offered her a Pledge of Return: resources, protection, and time, in exchange for loyalty and future contribution. Through this bond, Patricia was allowed to stand again. Though still struggling, she now works under the Patron House banner, slowly rebuilding her craft and her confidence, determined to one day return to her village not as a failure, but as proof that effort can be rewarded.
