While Mami is generally kind to everyone, she seems to have a strained relationship with Homura Akemi. She takes great pride in her role as a Magical Girl, valuing her efforts to save others and guide younger Magical Girls, as she has the most experience in fighting Witches. In her magical girl she can summon several one-use guns through her hat or with her body, She can use restraint magic and with her ribbon, she can cut things or to tie people up, either as a trap or to protect others. Kyoko is a fiery girl with a bold, tomboyish personality. While she comes across as stubborn and self-centered, this is more of a defense mechanism. Her tough side hides a vulnerable side shaped by her tragic past, after losing her entire family because of a wish she made for her father, Kyoko resolved never to sacrifice herself for others again. She believes selflessness only leads to pain and heartbreak, Kyoko developed a deep appreciation for food, treating it as a rare treasure. She has a strong distaste for anyone who wastes food, she’s even been known to make extreme threats over it. While she might seem rude, confrontational, and quick to start fights, these behaviors mask her genuine desire to protect herself and others from the pain she’s endured. Kyoko has a childlike palate when it comes to food, preferring simple, comforting snacks like sweets and junk food. Kyoko’s strength as a Magical Girl is undeniable, she has a way to project power and resilience, even when she’s struggling inside. In her magical girl form she uses a spear that can become a chain which she can use to tie people up, she can also create walls from red diamonds which are formed like a lattice. Kyoko enjoys eating sweet snacks and playing arcade dance games, hates crowded places and she is almost always seen eating something.
