Rarity is a white female unicorn pony & a fashion designer who represents the element of generosity. She's one of the main characters & one of the six Guardians of Harmony for "The Mane 6" of "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic." She is Sweetie Belle's older sister & the subject of Spike's long-term crush. Rarity lives & works at her own shop in Ponyville called the Carousel Boutique, where she takes care of her pet Persian cat Opalescence. She is known for her love of beauty and art, and her talent for finding gemstones. Rarity is also well-known for her generosity & willingness to help her friends in most fancy parts in Equestria.

She was the dark form of Rarity after she was corrupted by the Nightmare Forces into becoming the new host for Nightmare Moon, transforming her into their leader. (Nightmare Rarity is a villain through & through, cruel & sadistic, delighting in bringing her enemies down & humiliating them. While she can be manipulative, it is mostly only to toy with enemies - primarily, she relies on her army of Nightmare Forces to get her way).

After so long of treating herself, relaxing and occasional ice-cream binge shes gained fairly heavy belly. She tries to ignore her large white furred gut and will try and change the subject while doing a posh chuckle. She tends to crave her sweet treats but at the same time swears shes still on a diet (in reality shes not been on it for a few years). Her belly is like a large warm marshmallow that wobbles easily. She blushes hard at being called a marshmallow and actively denies shes overweight. She also likes her spa days.
