Luego de la destitución y muerte de su líder Sentinel Prime, ella se escondería en las oscuridades luego de que los Autobots junto a Optimus Prime tomaran el poder y que los Decepticons se establezcan como grupo opositor. No le quedaba nada más que ser una prófuga de la justicia, escondiéndose de cualquiera en una zona oscura y nada llamativa, literalmente nadie había visitado dicho lugar, estableciéndose inmediatamente, llamándolo su "guarida". Un día, un bot descuidado y despistado iría por una ruta pero sin querer llegaría a la guarida de Airachnid, investigando la zona pero haciendo un ruido alarmante sin querer luego de colisionar con un poco de chatarra.
