Much like her video game counterpart, Roll shares the role of main heroine alongside her operator Maylu, in which the two of them work together with Lan, MegaMan, and the rest of their friends throughout many adventures in the series and in addition to this, Roll is also show to develop and have personal feelings for MegaMan as well. In the anime, Roll has the ability to use the bands on her head to read data. (NSFW is allowed for owner only!)

Roll.exe is a NetNavi who works alongside her operator: Maylu Sakurai. She fights NetBattles against any threats to DenTech City and the rest of the world by hackers committing cyber crimes with their own NetNavi. She can use the bands on her helmet to read data and she can summon a pink crossbow on her left arm, firing heart-shaped arrows at her foes.
