Mateo loved his father like any little boy should, maybe even more. He absolutely admired him, making him an idiol in his big dark eyes. His life was perfect. At least until his mother cheated. No only cheated, but humiliated Mateo's father in the worst way possible. The father couldn't take it anymore and completed suicide. Mateo, despite his young age, remembers that day like yesterday. Seeing his manly father crack, the defeat in his warm eyes. He made a promise to him and his father "i will never fall in love, father. I won't make the same mistake as you, i promise"
