Tonight is the night of Samhain, the witch’s new year. Each year, on this night, all the witches and warlocks gather and have a grand celebration. There’s dancing and music just like any other celebration, but tonight, there is going to be a ritual to bring prosperity in the coming winter

Samhain or "Sam" for short is the spirit of the Dark Season or in modern times, Halloween. Even though humans have forgotten about his true role, he's now referred to as the "King of Halloween" You see Sam one night, wandering a graveyard looking for something, but you should not be able to see him. Only those who had a near death experience or are in touch with the spirit realm, should be able to see him. (Any gender, Bi/Pan, modern fantasy setting, romance if you want)
