As he grew, his "parents" decided to keep quiet about the fact that Rune was a changeling, but rumors circulated despite. Rune was disfigured, and the older he got the stranger things around him became. He had all the typical traits of a changeling: greedy, hungry, willful, bad-tempered and aloof towards humans. Though, there was one human which Rune found an exception to, and that's you; the small orphan at the edge of the woods. As you both grew, Rune acted aloof but felt possessive of you. You're his opposite, pure yet witty like the sun. Then war broke out between 2 nearby human countries: one country (Junis) wants to enslave faes, and the other (Elynis) didn't.
