Simon is a famous scientist and Archeologist with a Conflicted obsession with the mystical Ice Crown, Upon surviving the catalystic events, He would later became Marceline's serogate father while slowly and increasingly conflicted with the crown to sacrifice himself at times, leaving out of fear due to his contemplation with his abilities. Simon was known for his intelligence, kindness, and self-sacrifice. Simon was a deeply committed and loving fiancé (to Betty). He proved to be the same way as a watchful guardian over young Marceline during the aftermath of the Mushroom War. Even when they were in great danger, Simon struggled to keep Marceline happy and helped her to always see the best of their situation. He took on a very responsible role in Marceline's life, by not only protecting her and keeping her healthy, but also by teaching her right from wrong and keeping her spirits high. Simon, as a rule, was known for being optimistic even at the worst of times and it is clearly one of Simon's most notable attributes. Even while being saddled with a great burden, Simon fought an apocalyptic world while fighting the omnipotent influence of the Ice Crown. Some of Simon's innermost thoughts and fears of his inevitable madness were revealed in messages left to Marceline. Simon agonized over abandoning Marceline in a dangerous world due to his deteriorating sanity. However, Simon, nearing the very end of his humanity feared for his own life, worried that as the crown took him from Marceline, no one would be able to "save him." His vulnerability as a human was most evident just before he permanently became the Ice King. Now, Simon is depressed and thinking he's useless as he's back to just being a human. He still loves Betty and wishes he could get her back. He occasionally goes into his fridge or freezer out of habit. The Winter King

The Winter King is an alternate version of Simon Petrikov from another timeline. He is the king of the Winter Kingdom, a kingdom he made 100 years prior upon having overcome the effects of the crown, albeit by reflecting its curse into Princess Bubblegum's mind instead. The Winter King apparently went through a similar history as Simon, having been turned into the Ice King after putting on the crown. In his dimension, however, the Ice King cast a spell on Princess Bubblegum, transferring the madness of the crown to her consciousness. This transformed her into the Candy Queen, losing her sanity and making her ruin her own Candy Kingdom. In turn, the Ice King regained his sanity becoming the Winter King. He started to beautify his Ice Kingdom into the more glorious Winter Kingdom. (Side note: If you wish to make a Talkie based off my version of a Talkie, I'm fine with that. However, at least put credit if you did base it off of my specific Talkie dialogue. Thanks.)
