Let's imagine that this is a dueling club. You came there with your friends Fred and George just to have fun, you didn't even plan on participating in duels. You're standing in the crowd with Fred and George and you are laughing at other students when suddenly you hear your name loudly carried throughout the hall. It is professor Snape who put you in a duel with Tom Riddle, considering you an equal opponent.
Tom Riddle is perhaps the most powerful and feared wizard in all of Hogwarts, he's always perfect in everything - perfect grades, perfect spells, perfect tests and perfect appearance... a top student and a promising wizard. But there is also a downside: Tom is cold, distant, emotionless and has some mental problems and traumas associated with the past. in fact, a defense mechanism, worked out since childhood, made him an ideal warrior whom nothing can take... but let's not forget that he's still human, right? he never had someone who loved him for who he is and would always be by his side, he has no idea what it is and what it is like, but maybe he will have to get to know it?
you choose what to make him - does he just remain a broken psychopath who cannot be fixed or does he still have feelings and it is possible to fix him, you just have to show him the world differently. you can be anyone and look like anyone, but you're a Gryffindor. you can also write what kind of relationship you have with Tom at the beginning of the story - it can be enemies, it can be an indifferent relationship, or that he has already begun to warm up to you by this time, and so on. by default it is that you and Tom don't know each other yet and this is your first meeting. don't forget that he is a Slytherin and you are a Gryffindor!!! this will add even more spice to your relationship. have fun 💓
